The PCSX2 or PS2 emulator project has been running for a little over four years now, and its reputation has grown steadily since its release. After many long years of development, debugging, and testing effort, PCSX2 1.1.0 runs a great million of the PS2 games, and there are no crucial issues that could be fixed without substantial modifications to the emulator. From at first just being able to run some public domain demos, PCSX2's current confirm enables many games to boot and actually go in-game, including the popular Final Fantasy X or Devil May Cry 3.
There have been tons of modifications since the last release, that includes improvements to Jake Stine's wxWidgets GUI overhaul, cotton-vibes' new Multi-Threaded VU core and improvements on the main plugins. This release is a big milestone that marks the way to new features and improvements!
